北京地铁的报站依线路运营公司的不同大致就分两种：北京地铁运营公司（北京地铁）的线路报站、京港地铁4号线（大兴线）的报站。4号线的报站录音里多用英式英语的单词和词组，如地铁是metro而不是subway，报站的风格和香港地铁类似，非常简短：“下一站：动物园。Next：Beijing Zoo.”如是换乘站还会变成“下一站：西直门。乘客可换乘地铁2号线、13号线。Next：Ximen. Transfer for Line2 & Line13.”而其他线路就复杂的很，或许北京地铁觉得越详细越好或者乘客坐着很无聊……？“列车运行前方是XXX站，有在XXX站下车的乘客请您提前做好准备。XXX站是换乘车站，有去往YYY、ZZZ的乘客，请在XXX站下车，换乘N号线。尊老爱幼是中华民族的传统美德，请您尽量将座位让给老、幼、病、残、孕乘客，谢谢合作。The next station is XXX. XXX is a transfer station，passengers for Line N please prepare to get off the train.”对比就会发现，京港地铁的报站本着简约、明了的原则，和德国、瑞士、英国的城铁、地铁的风格很像。北京地铁的报站则是本着详细、精确的原则。至于前面的提到的一致性，我觉得并没有违反。京港地铁的4号线和大兴线有自己的报站方式，北京地铁的其他线路也有自己的报站方式，各自公司运营的线路报站方式大致相同。现在的地铁虽然仍然是国营，但是经营方式已经从政府机构管理转变为公司经营，公司自己决定自己运营的线路的相关事宜没有不妥，他们愿意协商一致当然是最好；他们按照自己的意愿运营线路，政府方面过多的干涉多家不同的公司强制推出一个报站方式不合理也没有意义。真正不能理解的北京公交车的报站不统一的程度。抛开八方达和祥龙运通不说，但是北京公交公司的线路，由于分属不同的分公司，报站的汉语和英语都很不一样。有的说“下一站”，有的说“前方到站”；有的说“Next Stop”，有的说“Next Station”；有的说“we are arriving at XXX”，有的说“we arrive at XXX”，有的说“we have arrived at XXX”。
